In Loving Memory of Walter F. Bronk Sr.
Walter Francis Bronk SR, 80, a longtime resident of Lowell, MA, joined his wife Rose M. (Diehl) Bronk, in eternal rest Friday January 19, 2024, at his home in Pepperell, MA, surrounded by his family.
Walter was born in Troy, NY, March 29, 1943 to the late Edwin and Marguerite (Waddington) Bronk. He graduated from Troy High School in 1961 and married his wife Rose of 59 years in 1962. He began his printing career at Williams press in Menands NY and eventually moved to MA where he worked at (Murray Printing) Courier in Westford MA until he retired in 2009.
Walter was an active member of the Centraville United Methodist Church in Lowell, where he served as a Lay Leader to share his faith. Additionally, Walter co-founded and served at the St. Paul’s Soup kitchen with his wife Rose.
Walter loved deep sea fishing, enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family.
Walter is survived by his four Children Dawn Bailey of Pepperell, MA, Paula (Richard Forest) of Pepperell, MA, Janine (Mark Bobek) of Tilton, NH. and Walter Jr. (Colleen Bronk) of Laurens, SC. Walter leaves behind his three surviving brothers, William Bronk of East Greenbush, NY, Raymond (Linda Bronk) and Harold (Mary Anne Bronk) of Troy, NY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Erin, Mathew, Joshua, Kelsey, Nicole, Taylor, and Zachary, as well as two great-grandchildren, Jayson and Nova and many Nieces and Nephews.
Walter was predeceased by his Daughter, Dana Bronk, son-in-law, Mark Bailey, Granddaughter Jessica Brackett and siblings James Bronk, Charles Bronk, Susan McCullough, and Ruth Stewart.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Walter’s visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at Morse Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Blvd., Lowell, MA. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 10 am in the funeral home, followed by burial in Edson Cemetery in Lowell, MA.
