Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister
Tena M. (Wilson) Angel, 61, of Littleton, died unexpectedly, May 26, 2022, at Nashoba Medical Center in Ayer, after a three and a half year, hard-fought battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She remained very optimistic until the very end. Tena was the beloved wife of David L. Angel with whom she shared her life for the past 20 years.
Born on January 19, 1961, in Orange, California, she was one of four daughters of Kenneth and Blanche Brown (Benzing) and Thomas and Donna Wilson. She received her early education in the Corona, California school system and was a graduate of the Corona Senior High School with the class of 1979. She furthered her education at Mercy College, earning an Associates Degree in Business Management.
Dave and Tena went on to become successful business owners, operating up to six AAMCO Transmission franchises at one time.
She recently became a patched Widows Sons Lady, Ancient Craft Chapter. She was a member of the Elks serving as Esteemed Lecturing Knight at both the Henderson/Green Valley Lodge and Albuquerque Lodge. She was an Indian Maiden, an avid Badminton player, and could really knock around a softball.
Tena’s favorite pastime by far, was to be RV camping with her dogs and husband. She was always the one to whip up a batch of cookies or chocolate, just to put a smile on someone’s face.
In addition to her husband Dave, she is survived by mother Blanche, her father Tom, her sisters Charlynn, Tammy, and Whitney, her brothers, Timothy and Matthew, her sons Patrick and Joseph, her stepson Matthew, her mother-in-law Carolyn, her daughters-in-law Megan and Stephanie, and her sister-in-law, Jennifer.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Tena’s life at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will be private. Funeral Director, Frederick W. Healy.
