Roland D. Phinney Jr., of Lowell, died peacefully on March 18, 2022, in Lowell, aged 78 years.
Born in Santa Barbara, CA, on August 29, 1943, he was the son of the late Roland and Doris (McCoy) Phinney.
Roland served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by a sister, Ellen Payeur and her husband Roderick of Eliot, Maine, two nieces, Brigitta F. Theleman and her husband David of Wake Forest, NC, and Heidi R. F. Spry and her husband Stanley of Lake Tahoe, NV, a nephew, Travis James Fielek and his wife Jennifer of Collierville, TN. Also, great nieces Mary Hannah Fielek, Sarah Katherine Fielek, and great-nephew, James Edward Fielek.
Friends will be received at the Calvary Baptist Church, 60 Hastings St., Lowell, on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10 to 10:45 a.m., followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
