Richard B. Medeiros, age 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 17, 2026.
He was raised in the Cambridge area and attended a vocational trade school. Richard worked primarily as a freelance laborer and was known for his landscaping work. He enjoyed working with his hands and being outdoors.
In his free time, he liked walking along Revere Beach, spending time at local pubs with live music, fishing, and attending church gatherings. He also volunteered with various organizations.
Richard is survived by his mother, Maria F. Dutra; his stepfather, Luis Dutra; his three children, Kaylyn, Vanessa, and Brandon; and his three brothers, Orland Medeiros, Sergio Medeiros, and Kevin Dutra. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins in the United States and in the Azores Islands.
