Priscilla Lefebvre, born on May 28, 1928, in Biddeford, Maine, to George and Irene Garnache, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. She was a devoted communicant of St. Margaret’s Church in Lowell.
A woman of many talents, Priscilla found joy in sewing, writing, crafting greeting cards, and solving puzzles. Her friends and family cherished the personalized cards she sent for every occasion, a testament to her thoughtfulness. Priscilla believed in the power of the pen, using it to address social issues and advocate for change. Her insightful and witty letters were published in the Lowell Sun, showcasing her ability to engage with the community.
Proud of her roots, Priscilla coordinated class reunions for her Biddeford High School classmates for many years. After her younger children started school, she embraced education herself, enrolling in college courses through the University of Lowell’s Second Chance program in 1979. This experience reignited her passion for writing, leading to the publication of her collection titled And You Thought I Was “JUST” a Housewife, which included her letters, anecdotes, short
stories, and poems.
Priscilla spent the last two and a half years at Chelmsford Crossing, where she formed deep connections with both staff and residents. They gathered to express their gratitude for her friendship and bid her farewell.
On September 17, 1949, Priscilla married Marc E. Lefebvre, who predeceased her. Together, they raised eight children, two of whom—Joan and Gene—have passed. She is survived by her children: Mark S. Lefebvre and wife Esther Howes of MA, Marcia Wagner of Dunbarton, NH, Elizabeth Holton and husband Frank of Huntsville, AL, Margaret Murray and husband David of Westford, MA, Alan Lefebvre of Lowell, MA, and Diane Lefebvre and husband Ron Szabo of Punta Gorda, FL.
Priscilla was a beloved grandmother and step-grandmother to 13: Mark A. Lefebvre of Elgin, SC; Chuck Salvo of Haverhill, MA; Tony Ste. Marie of Merrimack, NH; Angela Maas of New Boston, NH; Alicia Wagner of Middleboro, MA; AJ Ravenelle of New York City; Rachel Ravenelle of Savannah, GA; Douglas Ravenelle (deceased); Brad Murray of Baltimore,
MD; Ross Murray of Roanoke, VA; Jay Murray of Westford, MA;Natalia Lefebvre of Concord, NH; Kyle Szabo of Fort Myers, FL; and Kelly Szabo of Harriman, TN. She was also a great-grandmother to 17. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friend of over 50 years, Aline Morris.
Priscilla is survived by her brother Richard Garnache of Port Orange, FL, and predeceased by brothers Paul, George, and Charlie, as well as sisters Dorothy, Helen, and Muriel. In 1995, she married Richard Kelley; although they later divorced, they remained friends and lived separately
at Heatherwood in Tewksbury until his passing, after which Priscilla moved to Chelmsford Crossing.

The Lefebvre Family
My heart felt sympathy at the loss of your mother grandmother, and extended family, my family has been professionally and personally friendly with Priscilla,, Mark and families from the 1960’s and beyond from my father to present , it was always not just doing business but it was a social occasion, my father would catch up with what was going on in your families, the good, bad and the sad, and he would share about ours, also, I was fortunate for it to to extend to myself and my family, every now and then a phone call or one of her creative cards, and too dance at her 90th birthday, may your family always share the bond I saw at your mother’s 90th ,it was truly special, now she joined many other family and friends, keeping a eye on all of you like a guardian angel
she will be deeply missed,
sincerely Lance Sheehan
