Loving Daughter, Wife, Sister, Friend
Melissa L. Thyne, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2022. She was 46.
Born in Lowell, July 24, 1975, she was the daughter of Robert L. Thyne Sr. and Kathleen V. (Judge) Thyne, both of Pelham, NH, and stepmother, Nancy Thyne. Melissa received her early education in the Pelham school system and was a graduate of Pelham High School.
She was a dedicated lover of Football (The Patriots) and had a great love for animals, especially her cat Milo. She enjoyed soaking up the sun at the beach and singing to all her favorite songs on the radio.
Melissa had a passion for life, was never afraid to speak her mind, and was fiercely loyal to her many friends and family. She accepted everyone for who they were without judgment. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Melissa would call her a friend.
Melissa is survived by her wife Kerry A. (L’Italien) Thyne, her step sons Joseph, Dylan and Connor Broyer, her sisters Sherry Childers and Alicia Thyne and her brother Robert (RJ) Thyne, Jr. She is also survived by her nieces, nephew, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Melissa, we hope you know how special you made our lives, we will love you forever!
Relatives and friends will be received at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, MA, on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Stevens St., Lowell, at 12 PM. Please meet at Church. Interment will be private.
