“Margaret “Peggy” Anne Anthony passed away on February 2, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital. She was being cared for at home the last year in Lowell after spending the previous 15 years in Florida with her late beloved husband, Robert “Tony” Anthony.
Born in Boston on May 9th, 1946 she was the only daughter of her late parents Wallis E. & Katherine Cameron (Kline). She grew up in the Mission Hill area of Boston with her loving brother Jack of Amesbury, MA.
Peggy spent a large portion of her life in Quincy, MA where she raised her sons. She deeply loved her family, was an amazing Mother and a good friend to many.
In later years she moved to Acton, ME where she was an active volunteer, an EMT and was proud to be the Acton Town Clerk.
Peggy always put others first, had a great sense of humor and loved those she cared for unconditionally. Peggy was honest and loving and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons John, Chris and Gareth and their spouses Geraldo, Dianne & Barrie-Jean. Her younger brother Jack and his wife Carol of Amesbury, MA and her 7 grandchildren. Summer Murphy, Matt Murphy, Cailyn Murphy, Hayth Murphy, Colin Murphy and Jose Gonzalez along with several nieces and nephews.
