Obituary

Louis Joseph “Louie” Dally Jr., 69, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital. He was married to the late Kathleen Montminy.

Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of Louis J. Dally Sr. and Muriel Stairs.

He graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1972 and served with the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Hanscom U.S. Air Force Base and was a former communicant of St. Peter’s Church.

He enjoyed watching football, gardening, and was an avid collector. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons William “Billy” Dally of Lynn, MA; Louis “Luke” Dally III and his wife Sharon of Dracut, MA; Timothy Dally and his wife Amy of Milford, NH; brother Bryant and his wife Mary of Lowell, MA; sister Faith Senske and her husband John of Jamestown, NY; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
