Linda Carson, 76, of Springhill, FL died on December 21, 2024 at Tampa General North Springhill Hospital, FL surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lawrence, MA, Linda was the daughter of the late Burton and Eileen (West) Weinhold. She was married to Jackson Carson, with whom they would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in February.
Linda attended Methuen High School and graduated with the class of 1966. She went on to get an Associates Degree in Finance from the University of New Hampshire. Linda retired from Delaware Valley Corporation of Lawrence. Linda then moved on to serving as Finance Director with The Arc Nature Coast, Inc. In Brooksville FL, till her retirement in 2017. She took great pride in the mission of The Arc and her many years there.
Linda was a member of both the Eastern Star and Moose Lodge of Springhill, FL.
She enjoyed traveling to New England to visit family and friends. She also enjoyed going on cruises, traveling around the country with Jack and their annual trip to Aruba.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons Robert Desrochers and his fiancée Beth Austin of Old Orchard Beach, ME; William and his wife Renee Desrochers of Dracut, MA; Brad and his wife Stephanie Desrochers of Milford, NH; stepson Timothy Carson of Springhill, FL; brothers Roger Weinhold of Columbia, SC; Bruce and his wife Debbie Weinhold of Methuen, MA; Kevin and Debra Weinhold of Okeechobee, FL; sister Lisa Weinhold; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
