Kevin F. Gath, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died January 8, 2022, in Lowell, aged 57 years.
Born in Lowell on May 2, 1964, he was a son of the late Frederick C. Jr. and Theresa F. (Teague) Gath. He received his education in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of the Greater Lowell Technical High School, Class of 1982.
Kevin was extremely talented and creative. He enjoyed gardening, photography, and assemblage art. He was very close to his family and friends. “Kev” had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh that will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by two sons, Xavier Gath and Drew Gath, his soulmate and loving partner of 20 years, Jonathan Chisolm, a brother, Michael Gath and Joanne Provencher, three sisters, Marilou Gauthier and her husband Michael, Patty Ann Landry and her husband Kevin, and Karen Gath and Jay Gauthier, and many adoring nieces, nephews, close family members, and countless friends.
A walk-through visitation will be held at the MORSE-BAYLISS Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Face coverings are respectfully required. Interment will be private. In honor of his love of animals, friends who wish may make memorial contributions in his name to The Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway Street, Lowell, MA 01854.
