Loving Mother, Daughter, Wife

Kelly A. (Hudson) Partridge, 44, a lifelong resident of Westford, died peacefully on April 13, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Sean S. Partridge.

Born in Concord on September 1, 1977, she was the beloved daughter of Maura J. (Winn) Hudson, and Thomas H. Hudson IV, both of Westford. She received her early education in the Westford school system and was a graduate of Westford Academy with the Class of 1995.

As a young girl, she enjoyed playing outside and riding bicycles with friends in the parking lot of St. Catherine’s Church across the street from her childhood home in Graniteville.

After high school, Kelly first worked at North Middlesex Savings Bank, and later, at Middlesex Savings Bank in Littleton. She was also employed by the Westford Public Schools Special Education Department as a van driver for children. Most recently, Kelly was a much-loved cashier at the Market Basket in Westford, where she enjoyed greeting customers with her warm, gracious smile. While she was always a dedicated employee, Kelly considered any paid job to be a hobby. Her true calling was working with children, especially, but all people in need.

Outgoing and loyal, trustworthy and generous, Kelly always put others before herself. She had a kind, genuine, and giving nature, resulting in many lifelong friendships. Funny, and fun-loving, Kelly’s contagious smile and sense of humor always brought laughter, lightness, and joy to the room.

She loved attending the Annual Graniteville Spaghetti Suppers at the Franco-American Club with her children and mom. A true Patriots fan, she liked to watch football games with friends and family.

Kelly loved all beaches, but especially enjoyed spending time on Short Sands Beach at the family’s home in York, Maine near Nubble Lighthouse. She enjoyed taking long drives while listening to her favorite music.

Above all else, Kelly’s proudest accomplishment was raising two amazing children, who she adored beyond compare.

Throughout life, Kelly embraced her motto “Live and love your life by dancing in the rain”. When faced with the uncertainty of her recent illness, she wanted everyone to know, should something happen, to “aways think of me at dusk, it’s my favorite time of the day.”

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two cherished children, Celeste Ashley Partridge, and Sean Thomas Partridge, and her longtime stepmom, Rhyanne Mathews Hudson, all of Westford. Born into two, very large families, she also leaves many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends throughout the Westford area.

Friends are invited to her visitation at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 North Main St., Westford, on Thursday, from 3 to 7 PM. Kelly’s Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church on Friday at Noon. (Kindly gather at Church.) Interment will be private.
