It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Louise Jimenez, who departed this world on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the home of his daughter in Lowell, MA. He was surrounded by the love of his family. Jose was 77 years old.
Born and raised in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Jose was a proud graduate of Charles Evan Hughes High School, belonging to the esteemed Class of 1965. Following his graduation, he dedicated a portion of his life in service to the nation as a proud US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam era. After his honorable discharge, Jose embarked on a fulfilling career, retiring from Herman World Sporting Goods Department Store in Manhattan, NY.
A longtime resident of Manhattan, Jose was known for his vibrant spirit and love for music. He found joy in spending time with friends, especially when playing the drums. His rhythmic beats brought happiness to those around him and created lasting memories.
Jose is survived by his loving daughter, Karen Jimenez of Lowell, MA, and two cherished grandchildren, Brittany Richards and Emmanuel Tate, both of Lowell. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Jimenez of Ft. Myers, FL.
May Jose Louise Jimenez rest in eternal peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, from 4 to 6 pm at Morse Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Blvd, Lowell, MA.
