Jeanette Lamy

of Westford, MA

 

Jeanette Lamy, age 95, a longtime resident of Westford, died peacefully Sunday night October 19, 2025 a Community Hospice House in Merrimack New Hampshire.

She was married to the late Arthur Lamy.

Born in Bristol, CT she is the last of nine siblings. Jeanette was raised Westford and graduated from the public school system. She proudly raised her six children in Westford. She was communicant of St. Catherine Church, Westford.

Jeanette enjoy fishing trips and boating with her sister in her younger years in Vermont. She was a loving, kind grandmother who enjoyed going out to eat, holidays and baking, especially baking Apple Pies. She was a homemaker and caretaker always there for an overnight stay. She loved her grandchildren, cats, and dog. Her cats Missy and Fluffy and dog Toby.

She is survived by her sons Normand Lamy and his wife Brenda of Tyngsboro, and Raymond Lamy of Fitchburg, MA; daughters, Karen Obin and her husband Raymond of Vermont, Lorraine Dunn and her husband Scot  of Hudson, NH, and Denise Condo and her husband Mike of Chelmsford, MA. Twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews cousins and friends.

Jeanette was the sister of the late Irene, Leo, Lawrence, Theresa, “Gubby” Gabriel, Rita, “Bibby” and Cecile.
