Florence Wanja Kangethe, 56, of Haverhill, MA was promoted to glory on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at her home.
She was married to Simon Kangethe Gitau with whom she would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this coming September. Born in Kiambu, Kenya, she was the daughter of Peter Njoroge Mwaniki and Salome Muthoni Njoroge of Kenya. She graduated from Snr Chief Koinange High School, in Kiambu Kenya, with the class of 1887, she has Bachelor Degree from Mysore University India and BS Endicott College Beverly, MA
Florence was employed by Lahey Medical Center in Burlington MA, and Prior to that North-East Rehab Hospital in Salem NH and previously co-owned and operated Crossway Care, LLC as Administrator and Director of Nursing. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and a member of Koinania Women Fellowship, Visionaries and Destiny Sisters. She enjoyed hiking and Vacation/traveling. Besides her husband, Florence is survived by her sons Daniel Kangethe of Haverhill and Andrew Kangethe of Haverhill, MA, her daughter Joy Kangethe of Haverhill, MA, Her brothers are George Njoroge and his wife Linda Mwaniki of Kenya, John Njoroge and his wife Shannon Njoroge of Salem, NH; her sisters Jayne Njeri Njoroge of Kenya, Emily Njoroge-Daiss and husband Curt Daiss of Powder Springs, GA, and Philomena Njoroge of Springfield, MA Florence had many Nieces and Nephews many nieces and nephews.
