Ms. Roberts served as a trustee of the Merrimack River Valley House.  She was also the president of the Friends Group, which was responsible for planning monthly gatherings for the ladies of the home, such as the Wednesday Afternoon Tea Time.  Faye was active in the Tennant Council at the Frances Gate House of Lowell, having served as secretary and president.  In her free time, Faye enjoyed reading and music.

Faye leaves behind three nephews, Theodore Mellen, Jr., James Mellen and his wife Margaret, William Mellen and his wife Lisa; two nieces, Katie Roberts and her partner Mackenzie Dowdy, and Meghan Butler and her husband Derek; as well as several grand-nieces and grand- nephews.  Faye will also be lovingly remembered by the Bennett children and their families. I’ve known Faye for a long time, she was a friend of my aunt Lois Lilly and became a family friend. Always helping others with such a kindness. I would look for her when I shopped at the five a dime downtown lowell then a Kmart in Billerica and seen her help so many on holidays cooking for folks living at Francis gate house apartments. Rest In Peace Faye
