David Martin Skillman, 84, of Lowell, MA, died February 15, 2023, at Lowell General Hospital. He was, and still is, the beloved husband of Sonia Skillman, to whom he was married for 53 years.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in Narberth, PA, the son of Tom and Shirley (Swift) Skillman. He graduated from Lower Merion High School in Narberth, and Cornell University with the class of 1961.
David was a retired businessman, and a faithful attendee of Community Christian Fellowship, Lowell.
In addition to his wife Sonia, he is survived by a sister, Sarah (Skillman) Jehle of Citra, FL; and his older brother, Tom Skillman of Fort Collins, CO. Dean Skillman, his younger brother, who resided in Lambertville, MI, passed away last September.
He was the father of David N. Skillman, who resides in Lowell, and Christina (Skillman) Valenzuela, who lives in Beverly Farms, MA.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25th, at 4 PM at the Community Christian Fellowship, 105 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, MA.
