John Mugambi Njeru of Lowell, MA

The late John Mugambi Njeru, 65, of Lowell, MA, passed away on June 29, 2025, at Regal Care in Lowell.

He was born 05/04/1960 in Nyeri, Kenya, where he lived until 2004 before moving to the United States with his Family Alice M Gichuki, Marieta Mugambi, and Ann Muthoni. While in Kenya, John worked as an accountant. After relocating to the U.S., he worked as a sales associate at Walmart.

John enjoyed music and had a strong interest in mathematics. He was a social person who liked spending time with friends and family. He especially enjoyed being a grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Marieta Mugambi, and Ann Muthoni both of Lowell, MA; his grandchildren, Jedidah Burgos and Germano James. Sisters, Lucy Wamuyu Njeru, the late Damaris Watiri Kibue, the late Esther Njoki Muciri and his brothers, Stephen Mwangi Njeru, the late Alex Maina Njeru and the late Silas Njora Njeru from Kenya.
