Elio Pablo Perez, 95, of Lowell, MA, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
Born in Camajuani, Cuba, he was the beloved son of Florencio and Paula Perez. He came to the United States in 1971 and later became a U.S. citizen.
Elio was employed by Prince Macaroni of Lowell. He was a member of the Lowell Senior Center.
He enjoyed baseball, boxing, gardening, cooking, walking, and Dominoes. He was proud of his Cuban heritage. Spending time with his five great-grandchildren was the one thing he especially loved to do.
Elio is survived by his daughters Martha Woodward and her partner Javier Soriano of Charlotte, NC and Mariela Perez of Lowell, MA; his sister Dulce Perez of Cuba; his four grandchildren Maria Allen and her husband Timmy, Felicia Landry, Rafael Rodriquez, and Tiffany Rodriquez and her wife Caila; five great-grandchildren with a sixth on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ubaldo Perez as well as by his former wife, Emilia Fonseca.
