Boris Shoykhet, of Lowell, MA died Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Anna Shoykhet of Lowell.
Born in Dubossary, Moldova, he was the son of the late Pinchos and Rivka Shoykhet.
He came to the USA in 1988 from the Soviet Union.
Boris graduated at the top of his class and was awarded Silver Medal in his class and he was also the Salutatorian. He was proud of his hard work and earned his Master’s Degree. He enjoyed his professional career as a computer programmer. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing chess and reading.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark B Shoykhet and a daughter, Dina Katz; three grandchildren, Michael Markovich Shoykhet, Aliah Bell Katz, and Jason Rayzel Katz. He his also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Boris was the brother of the late Vladimir Pinchosovich Shoykhet, and Asya Paulovna Fadeeva.
