Doris Theresa (Goulet) Koczarski, age 89, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at The Williamsport Home in Pennsylvania.
Born in Lowell on March 12, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Gaudis and Cecile (Pombert) Goulet. Doris graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1954. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdalen Church and was formerly active with the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 247.
Doris was the beloved wife of the late John F. Koczarski. She was also predeceased by her first husband, William A. Cooper, Sr., her son, Robert H. Cooper, her stepson, Robert Koczarski; her daughter-in-law, Karen Cooper, and her sister, Lorraine Madden.
For many years, Doris owned and operated Lil Peach Convenience Store in Chelmsford, where she enjoyed serving her community. Prior to that she enjoyed most of her career in the field of Electronics in a managerial role. She loved playing board games and doing puzzles, and cherished time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, William A. Cooper, Jr. of Montoursville, PA; her stepson, William Koczarski; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Cooper of Florida; her grandchild, Richard Cooper and his wife Sheila of Harpursville, NY; and her brother, Robert Goulet of Nashua, NH. She also has a great-grandchild and a great-great grandchild, along with 2 step great-grandchildren and a step great-great grandchild with 2 more on the way.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, North Chelmsford, MA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro.
Interment will follow at Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, where she will rest beside her first husband, William.
