Keith A. Matthews

Keith A. Matthews, affectionately known as “Kampro,” age 55, of Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Melissa Waweru, with whom he would have celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary on April 26, 2026.
Born in Los Angeles, Keith was the cherished son of Carlton Matthews and Shirley Buchanan.
He was a member of Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
Keith was known for his generous heart and his passion for life. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed gardening, working with computers, traveling, watching documentaries, and spending peaceful days at the beach.
In addition to his wife and parents, Keith is survived by his son Nathan Matthews, his daughter Jenessa Matthews, his brother Donald Thomas, his sister Angela Matthews, and his stepbrother Joseph Buchanan. Keith will be remembered for his love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He will be laid to rest in Los Angeles California.
